Plenty of “best of” lists online are just reworded spec sheets or pay-to-play rankings. GarageVetted is the opposite. We dig into each product, compare it against the field, find where it falls short, and only then tell you whether it’s worth your money.

I’m Mike, and GarageVetted is mine. I’m not a dealership tech or a brand ambassador — I’m a lifelong DIY gearhead. I grew up handing wrenches to my dad in the driveway, lost a few weekends learning what not to do, and have spent the years since maintaining my own cars, tools, and everything that lives in my garage.
I started this site because shopping for car gear online is frustrating. Too many “best of” lists are just reworded spec sheets or pay-to-play rankings. I wanted a site that does the boring part for you: digging through the specs, the expert teardowns, and hundreds of real owner reviews, finding where a product falls short, and saying so in plain language.
There’s no anonymous content mill here. I stand behind every pick on this site — if something sits at the top, it’s because it earned its place. If you think I got a call wrong, tell me and I’ll take a real look.
